Georgia Weather Forecast: More Storms, 'Brief Tornado' Possible
The storms that rocked through much of metro Atlanta on Sunday aren't done yet, weather experts say. A flood watch has been extended for parts of north and central Georgia until 8 p.m. Monday. And "several other disturbances" — with the possibility of tornadoes — could mean we're in for a stormy rest of the week, too.

Beating Pregnant Mother, Son Earns Man 5-Year Jail Sentence
A man was sentenced to 15 years with the first five in confinement after beating a pregnant woman and her four-year-old son in front of the woman's eight-year-old daughter, according to prosecutors.
