- Fulton County health officials announced a monkeypox vaccination event, and within hours, all of the appointments were taken. Approximately 200 doses of the vaccine will be given out today. The doses are limited to men in the Atlanta metro who have sex with men and who have had two or more sexual partners in the past two weeks. ( The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- Callie Bennett Carson, a lifelong Cobb County resident, turned 100 years old yesterday. Carson was born July 8, 1922 and was married to her late husband, William Carson, for over 64 years. The couple had four daughters, eight grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. (11Alive.com WXIA)
- Come out to see Leah Belle Faser at Smyrna City Public Works on Tuesday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m. The singer/songwriter from Georgia has a unique musical sound, a blend of country, pop, rock and folk. (Google)

The whimsical picture book turned musical is based on Oliver Jeffers' award-winning children's book in which a young boy named Henry discovers that he can absorb books — by eating them.
