Takeover-Style Robbery at Cumberland Mall Diamond Store

SMYRNA, GA -- Between three and six suspects robbed a diamond store in Cumberland Mall on Thursday.

All of the suspects were wearing dark hoodies, reports the AJC, when they robbed Diamond Solutions inside the mall.

There were reports of shots being fired during the crime, as well as other stores being robbed, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Two of the suspects are being reported as having handguns, reports CBS 46. They are reported to have fled in a white, 2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor with Alabama license plates. The SUV is being reported as stolen from Clayton County.

Police are referring to the crime as a takeover-style robbery.
