Upcoming Broadcasts of State of the County Address Announced

Cobb County Commission Chairman Tim Lee presented the address on Monday morning.

If you missed the Cobb County Commission Chairman’s annual State of the County Address, several re-broadcasts of the speech will be appearing on county television in the upcoming days and weeks.

According to Cobb County government, viewers of Cobb County’s channel 23 can watch the speech at noon on Wednesday; at 8 a.m., 2 and 6 p.m. on Thursday; at noon on Friday, and at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Lee spoke at the First Monday Breakfast sponsored by the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce on Jan. 12. During Lee’s speech, he stressed the county’s new “Love Cobb County” initiative, which is meant to inspire Cobb residents and businesses regarding the county and to spread the good news to friends, family, and business associates.

Lee added that the parking and transportation plan for the Atlanta Braves’ new stadium in Cobb County will be unveiled in 2016, but there were no surprise announcements during the speech, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
