Vinings Business of the Year Finalists Announced
Five businesses are in the running for the prestigious award and have been invited to speak at a Dec. 2 luncheon.

The Vinings Business Association (VBA) has announced five finalists for their “2014 Vinings Business or Organization of the Year” award.
The 5 finalists (in no particular order) are: Tommy Clyatt Insurance, The Meyring Law Firm, Social Vinings Restaurant, PrintWave and the Vinings Village Civic Club.

In making the announcement 2014 VBA President Todd Ash, said, “We are happy to recognize five Vinings area organizations for their commitment to the Vinings community and for their continued participation. They have contributed to the overall definition of our community and we congratulate them on their achievements.”
Each of the finalists will be invited to speak at the December 2 luncheon held at Social Vinings restaurant (3621 Vinings Slope Dr, Atlanta, GA 30339) to share some of their secrets on how they have succeeded. “We encourage all members to attend and we also invite guests, Vinings residents, visitors and interested citizens to attend as well. Just go to the website, www.viningsbusiness.com and register at least 24 hours in advance to guarantee lunch,” said association chair Glenn Christian. The overall program is held from 11:30 am – 1:00 pm and is $15 for members and $20 for non-members and includes a buffet lunch. Credit/Debit cards are accepted online. Cash or checks are accepted at the door. An invoice may be printed from the website and paid at the door after registering online. The 2014 winner will be announced at the January 6 luncheon and will be selected by the VBA Board of Directors. Previous winners were Chick-Fil-A (2006), SOHO restaurant (2009), Courtyard Atlanta Vinings hotel (2010), Vinings Jubilee (2011), Vinings Historic Preservation Society (2012) and The BrightSide News, Vinings Edition (2013).
