Vinings Rite Aid Robbed Early Saturday Morning
Police have released a surveillance photo of the suspect.
ATLANTA, GA -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Saturday morning at the Rite Aid on Cumberland Parkway in Vinings.
A man entered the store shortly before 3 am and acted as if he was going to make a purchase. "The male then produced a handgun and demanded money from the employee operating the register," according to a statement from police. "The perpetrator then fled on foot in a westerly direction after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash."
The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black jacket, black pants and a grey ball cap. He was armed with a handgun.
