What's Open, Closed in Smyrna on Independence Day

City of Smyrna administrative offices and various facilities will be closed on Friday, July 3 for the July 4th Independence Day holiday. The Library will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Saturday, July 4. The Recycling Center will be open on Friday, July 3 but closed on Saturday, July 4. The Smyrna Fresh Produce Market will be open on Saturday, July 4. Tolleson Pool (outdoor) is open on July 3 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and July 4 from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. All other Parks & Recreation facilities such as Wolfe Recreation Center and Pool, Community Center, and Brawner Hall are closed both dates. Public Safety remains operational during this time with the exception of the Police Records department and other administrative services. The sanitation/recycling and yard waste collection schedule will adjust as follows (other related information may be found following the sanitation schedule adjustment):

• Monday and Tuesday routes unchanged.
• Thursday routes picked up on Wednesday.
• Friday routes picked up Thursday.
• No yard waste or large items picked up this week.
