• 2 charged after gun, tent found near Snellville elementary school: Report (fox5atlanta.com) — Police arrested two people found living in a tent between a Snellville shopping center and Centerville Elementary School, where officers discovered a handgun with its serial number removed, marijuana, and alcohol. The school's principal reassured families there was no sign students were in danger, but some local parents remain worried about weapons and drugs so close to children.
