1 Arrested, 1 Injured In South Cobb Shooting
Police say they have arrested the man accused in a shooting that injured another man in South Cobb.
MABLETON, GA — An Atlanta man is facing aggravated assault charges in connection with the recent shooting of another man in the 6400 block of Mableton Parkway, Cobb County Police said Tuesday.
The shooting happened around 12:45 p.m. Friday and injured a 41-year-old Atlanta man, police said.
He suffered injuries that were not life threatening and was taken to a local hospital, police said. His condition was unknown Tuesday.

The suspect, who police identified as 38-year-old Delanee M. Dorsey, was accused of fleeing the scene before officers arrived.
Major Crimes detectives were able to identify Dorsey and warrants were issued to charge him with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, police said.

Dorsey on Monday was arrested after officers saw his vehicle in a shopping center parking lot, police said. He was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond, police said.
A motive in the shooting was not revealed.
