Austell Man Wanted in Home Burglary

Two other suspects have been in custody since the day of the burglary because the homeowner took matters into his own hands.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the third suspectΒ in an AustellΒ burglary and he is no stranger to law enforcement.

Devin DeSean Harrison of Austell facesΒ a charge of burglary in connection with theΒ July 12 incident at a home in the 1200 block ofΒ Mt. Pisagh Downs.

"The victimΒ did pick out a picture of said accused from a six person photo lineup as being the third perpetrator in this incident," police said.

Harrison is aΒ documented member of the Re-Up gangΒ who was arrested in March on multiple chargesΒ afterΒ he and three other members allegedlyΒ went to Pebblebrook HighΒ to rob a student of his cell phone. The disposition of that case is not known.

In the latest incident, Harrison,Β Kunta Kinte Grier Jr. andΒ Samuel Hill Walker allegedlyΒ stole a 7-inch wet tile saw, aΒ military-style phone and about $200 dollars in loose coins.

Grier and Walker, who are both from Austell,Β have beenΒ in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center since the day of the burglaryΒ in lieu of $25,000 bond.

"The victim confronted all threeΒ subjects at gunpoint and apprehended two of the three co-defendants as the third subject fled the scene," Cobb police said.

Like Harrison, Grier and WalkerΒ each face a charge of burglary.
