Cobb Bomb Threat Update: Home Was Scheduled to Be Sold
The suspect faces five charges in connection with the incident.

The home whereΒ Cobb sheriff's deputies arrested anΒ Acworth manΒ late TuesdayΒ in connection with a bomb threatΒ at theΒ Cobb County Judicial Complex was scheduled to be sold on the courthouse steps, Cobb Sheriff Neil Warren said this afternoon.
Terri Harrington is listed as the owner of the homeΒ in the 800 block of Fairwood Pointe, butΒ authorities are not sureΒ how Harrington is related to Tommie Milan Boleman Jr., the 45-year-oldΒ Acworth manΒ facingΒ charges in connection with the threat.
BolemanΒ was arrested at 9 p.m. TuesdayΒ at the foreclosedΒ home, online jail records show.Β

Boleman's captureΒ came 11 hours after he allegedlyΒ purchased a Verizon prepaid wireless phone and a prepaid minute card at a DallasΒ WalMart around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
According to an arrest warrant, Boleman allegedly used that phone to callΒ the Cobb County government information line about 10:25 a.m. During that call,Β he allegedly told a county employee "that there was a bomb in the courthouse and he could not believe they were selling her house."

As was the case withΒ previous bomb threats, the call was madeΒ on theΒ dayΒ that foreclosed properties were scheduled to go up for auction on the courthouse steps.
No suspicious devices were found duringΒ a search of the courthouse conducted by Cobb sheriff'sΒ deputies and an explosives detection canine, Warren said. After a brief delay, courtΒ functions resumed without incident.
βAs I have said before, we will not tolerate anyone trying to intimidate our court officials, our prosecutors, and our citizens coming to the Cobb County Courthouse to conduct business,β Warren said.Β βOur agency has policies and procedures in place to handle this type of incident. As far as I am concerned, the deputies responding to this situation did an outstanding job and I am proud of their efforts.β
He is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on five chargesΒ that range from terroristic threats to transmitting a false public alarm.

An Acworth man has been arrested in connection with a Tuesday morning bomb threat at theΒ Cobb County Judicial Center, according to theΒ Marietta Daily Journal.
Tommie Milan Boleman Jr. was arrested at 9 p.m. TuesdayΒ at his home in the 800 block of Fairwood Pointe, online jail records show.
CobbΒ Chief Deputy Sheriff Milton Beck this morningΒ said the agency would release a statement later. He offered no details.
