In 2013 The state of Georgia no longer required the GHSGT to graduate from high school.

The schools with the highest graduation rates over 90 percent are the schools with the less than 20 percent of rental properties in its attendance zone, less than 10 percent of their enrollment are economically disadvantaged ( free or reduce lunch) and less than 20 percent of their enrollment are minority.Cobb Horizon is a specialized school that is a non traditional attendance zone school
The schools with lowest graduation rates has a 70 percent or more economically disadvantage ( free or reduce lunch) rate, 40 percent or more of its attendance zone is rental property and 40 percent or more of its enrollment are minorityThe Georgia High School Graduation Test, or GHSGT, was administered to all students in the eleventh grade in the US state of Georgia from 1991–2013. Plan to have all high schools above 90 percent

To have all high schools to to have graduation rates over 90 percent we must have resources.We need at least 4 guidance counselors for every 400 students. If a school Has 2500 students there needs to be at least 16 guidance counselors that support the school or feeder pattern.We need quarterly meetings with community organizations, businesses with schools.We need to focus on the communities that have high transient rates and inform the private apartment complexes of the plans to make sure they are aware of the community and school partnerships.The state of our schools is the state of our community and the state of our community is the state of our schools
