Cobb County Public Safety Department will host a spring safety blitz on Saturday April 26th, 2014. The event will be held at the Parkview atlanta Apartments 360 Six Flags Drive, Austell, Georgia 30168. The time will be from 10 am-3pm. The community will be invited to meet Fire, Police and 911 personnel. They can visit the safety house, and have a chane to win Six Flags tickets. The event is free and there will be facepainting, and hot dogs. Community partners are Cobb County Commissioner Lisa Cupid, Public Safety Director Sam Heaton, Precinct 2 Police Captain Jeffrey Adcock, Fire Chief Crider, Austell Community TaskForce, Six Flags Drive Businesses, Premeir Learning Academy and First Communities property management.
