Cobb County Schools are out for Fall Break. Well some people will say it's furlough days. The Boys and Girls Club located on Six Flags Drive is closed for the break. The only youth program open during the break is Community Playhouse. The Community Playhouse is a performing Arts program for ages 5 to 18. The program director is Ms. Karen Shirley. The program is an after school hour program held at the South Cobb Recreation Center located on Six Flags Drive in Austell, GA. Ms. Shirley decided to host a fall break camp so that youths can do something positive during the break. Please contact 678-499-3341 for more info.
The South Cobb Recreation Center is open also for the community to utilize the gym. The gym is open 12pm-3pm for open gym. Please call 770-819-3240 for additional hours.
