National Night Out Against Crime event was celebrated at Parkview Atlanta Apartments on Six Flags Drive on Monday August 5th 2013. The event was hosted by Parkview Atlanta and Kingsley Village Apartments resident committee. The event was sponsored by a We Thrive On The Drive community event. Community Partners were Austell Community Taskforce and Legal Shield. Residents got a chance to talk with Lt. Hamilton and Lt. Bell from Cobb County Police Department. They also enjoyed free sno-cones, popcorn, hotdogs, facepainting, bouncey house fun. Community resources were given out from Amerigroup and the Hispanic Coalition. The event was held on Monday August 5th, because the first Tuesday was the night before the first day of school.
