If your company is currently seeking quality employees and hires young people 16-21, The CobbWorks Youth ASSETS team can help. This event will expose your organization to the employment services available through CobbWorks Youth ASSETS that can help you meet your employment needs.
CobbWorks' mission is to promote employment and education opportunities that strengthen the workforce and economic development of the community. A key strategy of this mission is our Youth Achieving Success thru Support, Education, and Training Service program, which assists young people in setting and achieving their career development goals. "ASSETS" reflects both the value of CobbWorks services to your business and our belief that young people are assets to our community and valuable members of the workforce.
Let CobbWorks help you achieve your recruitment needs by joining us in connecting this diverse group of job applicants to your job vacancies through two key programs Work Experience and On-the-Job Training (OJT). The Work Experience program provides youth the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at no cost to you. Your organization provides an eight-week supervised, meaningful employment experience and CobbWorks pays all wages and workman's compensation coverage.

The second program, OJT, helps you find eligible candidates that match the qualifications of your positions while reducing your training expenses for that new employee. CobbWorks will reimburse your company up to $3000 for part of the training costs associated with training this new employee.
If you would like to learn more about these programs and the other services provided by the CobbWorks Youth ASSETS team, we encourage you and your representatives to attend this worthwhile event. Registration and lunch are free for this event. For additional information regarding this Lunch and Learn or to RSVP your attendance please contact Angela Jackson.
