UGA Cobb Cooperative Extension staff will offer a two-hour class called "From Your Garden to Your Table," sharing how to prepare and plant a garden and how to preserve and store produce. Gardening tips will include: site selection, garden planning, soil testing and common diseases and insects. Canning tips will include: overview of canning equipment, food safety, pressure canning and freezing.
Pre-registration is required and the fee is payable at the door. Light refreshments will be served.
