Turner Chapel A.M.E. Church invites you to join us in celebrating our 145th Anniversary. The anniversary worship service will feature the Mass Choir and the Worship Arts Ministries of Turner. The Guest Preacher for this occasion is retired Bishop, the Right Rev. Henry Allen Belin, Jr., the 104th Elected and Consecrated Bishop of the AME Church.
After the worship service, join us in a church-wide fellowship for A Taste of Turner. It will be a time of fellowship, celebration and unity in which we can rejoice in what God has done in the life of this church since its beginning. We are inviting everyone to bring a dish that can be shared with at least 8-10 persons to be served in the fellowship hall after service.
To assist persons with knowing what to bring we have divided the groups into the various Episcopal Districts in the A.M.E. Church (for example: persons from Louisiana are in the 8th district and perhaps would bring a Cajun dish). We are asking you to share the local and international dishes that reflect the diversity of where you come from.
