, Whitefield, and have all reached the midway point of the season. Each team has had a completely different season. The Falcons started slow, but have since recovered. The have been a Jekyll and Hyde squad all year. The started fast, but have fallen on hard times lately. Will things change for the better or worse this week? Here's a preview.
Pebblebrook @ North Cobb
The opponent was different, but the result was the same for the Falcons. For a second straight game, Pebblebrook walked away with a 21-14 win. This time the Falcons beat an over-matched Kennesaw Mountain team.

Quarterback C.J. Goodman was at the top of his game, throwing a touchdown and running for two more. Running back Sertonuse Harris ran for a game-high 150 yards. He accounted for over half of Pebblebrook's offense.
Whenever Goodman and Harris are playing well, the Falcons have a good chance to beat anyone. It seems like Goodman's earlier injuries are no longer a question, which is great news going forward.

Pebblebrook is now 2-3 after starting the season 0-3. North Cobb presents a bit of a challenge, but not one that the Falcons can't handle.
The Warriors come into the game averaging 33.4 points per game. The Falcons will have to get a good rush on the quarterback, something that they've struggled to do this season. Pebblebrook must also possess the ball for long drives in order to win the field position battle.
This will be a very close game with field position being the key to victory.
Prediction: Pebblebrook 28 North Cobb 27
Whitefield Academy @ First Presbyterian
The wheels came off in the Wolpack's last game against Eagles Landing Christian, as they allowed a season-high 61 points. Whitefield allowed scoring plays in almost every possible way in the 61-6 loss. The Wolfpack allowed touchdowns off an interception, punt block, pass, and 65-yard run. It seemed like the game was over before it started.
The good news for Whitefield is that the next game will start off zero to zero against First Presbyterian. The bad news is that the Vikings have a pretty good ball club. They come in with a 4-2 record and beat Our Lady of Mercy 21-17 last week.
The running game must again be the Wolfpack's strong point. Quarterback Max Kemether has been asked to do too much in recent weeks after falling behind early in the last two games. The more carries running back Richard Sherrell gets, the more likely Whitefield gets a win. If he gets over 20 carries, the Wolfpack will get a win, if he doesn't, they won't.
Prediction: Whitefield Academy 21 First Presbyterian 20
South Cobb @ Harrison
The past two weeks have been a nightmare for South Cobb. The Eagles were outscored 95-13 in the two games against Hillgrove and McEachern. After starting the season 3-0, hope is fading quickly at SCHS.
However, the bleeding should stop this week against a less than stellar Harrison team. The Hoyas are 1-4 and have not scored more than 15 points in any game this season.
The Eagles should take advantage of Harrison's underwhelming offense and cause some turnovers. South Cobb was able to cause an early fumble against McEachern last week, but was unable to capitalize on it. If they can do the same thing this week, the results should be different.
A bright spot in the loss last week was a 72-yard touchdown pass from Stephon Masha to Gary Jones. If they can hook up like that again, the Eagles should cruise to a victory against Harrison.
Prediction: South Cobb 28 Harrison 14
