-I am a 15 year resident of Cobb county -I am a single mom of 2children, whom I raised alone on Six Flags Drive/ Riverside Parkway . My oldest is a college graduate who directs and managed her own (very successful) non profit.
And yes. Like 20,000 plus individuals throughout the area(s), I have appeared in eviction court over the past several years.

"We Thrive on Riverside Renters Association is a nonprofit founded by myself and my daughter Brianne and have received national recognition for it's efforts to empower local communities and renters Because of my leadership and advocacy, local families have improved access to resources, knowledge, governmental processes and have succeeded in holding apartment managers accountable for subpar living conditions.

The 3 times I have appeared in eviction court is because of
Retaliation and my desire to uplift renters of all backgrounds is why i appeared in eviction court. I have appeared in court is because laws and policies are in place to protect landlords. There are strict guidelines in place that don’t consider working families.
I am not ashamed or embarrassed
I will fight in eviction court and at the same time fight for everyone to have an opportunity to thrive
