Lindley 6th Grade Academy career day March 14th 2014

On Friday March 14, 2014 Lindley Sixth Grade Academy hosted their annual career day. 21 Guest presenters shared their career with Lindley Sixth Grade Academy Students. Careers range from firefighters, it specialist with Coca Cola, marketing executive with Chic Fil A, Cobb County Nutritionist just to name a few. Their was a very important guest presenter by the name of Mr. Robert "Rob" Buchanan and his mother Theresa Buchanan. The pair shared with a small group of students, Rob Olympic Gold, Silver and Bronze medals he won in the Special Olympics. Rob has been participating in the Special Olympics for over 10 years. He trains at Thompson Park in Mableton Georgia. The Buchanans' said they enjoyed spending time at Lindley Sixth Grade Academy and will like to come back again. Great Job Mrs. cox, Mrs Chenault and Mr. Joshua with Career Day.
