Mableton Man Among Deal Appointees

Patrick M. Healy was one of three Cobb County residents Deal picked to serve on various state boards.

Gov. Nathan Deal recently appointedΒ three Cobb County residents to various state boards, and one of them is from Mableton.

Patrick M. Healy, theΒ chairman, chief executive officer and president of Peach State Health Plan, a Georgia Medicaid CMO, was appointed to theΒ Joint Study Committee on Medicaid Reform, according to a release from the governor's office.

That committeeΒ will study current Medicaid policies and procedures and determine if current programs are being implemented in the most efficient and effective manner.

Other Cobb County residentsΒ tapped to join state boardsΒ include:

  • Dianne Wolfe Patterson of Northeast Cobb. Patterson was appointed to theΒ State Board of Nursing Home Administrators.
  • Charles R. McMurtrey Jr. of Marietta.Β McMurtrey was reappointed to theΒ State Construction Industry Licensing Board'sΒ Division of Low Voltage Contractors.
