No swim back victories this election season

The season is upon us! Organizers, educators, community advocates and yes, candidates are clamoring for votes but what is truly at stake during this election season?
Undecided voters once again are expected to hold the power in critical elections where the quality of families’ lives are at risk and the power structure hangs in the balance.

“Renters will take the lead assuredly,” declares Monica DELANCY. Fresh off of the subcommittee hearing led by senator Jon Ossoff and fired up, DeLancy boldly cites national events as evidence that boots on the ground efforts are paying off like never before.

“Renters are educated now more than ever.Especially with home ownership being the lowest for black communities, our power as stakeholders is quantified”

DELANCY is currently meeting with selected leadership that knows the true value of the vulnerable to once again ensure voices are heard and needs are met beyond the polls .

“It is imperative that communities understand exactly who needs to be at the table when these resources are being served,” shares a member of the We Thrive Riverside group in attendance at the March 4th meeting “Essential workers are just that! Essential. When the world shut down, the demand was still upon these precious services to keep us going. We refuse to be disregarded now that things are ‘business as usual’

Even in the midst of walk outs, boycotts and threats of strikes, DELANCY remains vigilante in her efforts.

“We are looking forward, not back and there is no progress without our families. In these families are the youth that will lead these communities, cities and nation. Our hope is here! Our HOPE is HOME!
