Pedestrian Killed in Accident on Austell Road: Police
The crash snarled morning rush-hour traffic on the busy commuter route.
COBB COUNTY, GA — The Cobb County police are investigating a fatal accident early Wednesday on Austell Road in which a pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle, according to media reports.
The police responded to the scene at 5:30 a.m. on Austell Road at Perkerson Mill Road, a police spokeswoman said.
She said the Police Department will release more information on the accident when it's available.

The accident temporarily shut down all lanes of Austell Roaduntil about 8:40 a.m., the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
