Police Make Arrest in Mableton Molestation

Cobb police have arrested a Mableton man who allegedly confessed to a co-worker that he molested his cousin's stepdaughter "on more than one occasion."

Silvano Aguilar was arrested Friday night on charges that include two counts of child molestation.

According to a Cobb County arrest warrant, he allegedly molested the girl between May 1, 2011, and May 23, 2013.

"Accused resides in the same household as the victim and is the cousin of the juvenile's step-father," according to the warrant. "The juvenile victim stated that the accused had molested her on many occasions in the house when the two were alone."

Aguilar is in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond.
