This Saturday morning, as I was encouraging others through Scripture, devotionals, and my personal insight, I concluded that basically, we are all encouraging others to “Recharge their gifts. Devotional after devotional, the urge was and is, for us to Believe God when He says, all things are possible to us all, “IF” we believe.
Bob Gass, “Today's Word, ”” The Daily Word”, and finally Marshawn Evans, all inspired me on this day. I showed my appreciation by passing it on via social media. When I finished, it occurred to me that perhaps it needed to go further to include, where I live; The South Cobb Patch.
Know that there are gifts within your gifts!I am particularly moved by Marshawn Evans, who is celebrating her 34th birthday today. She is a certified attorney who chooses to expand her gift into motivating and inspiring others through speaking and other means. The skills needed to be an attorney lend themselves to other arenas. Speaking, investigating, discerning, deciding, and concluding; these are all gifts within the gift of a certified attorney. As you can see in my response to her request to express what she has done for me, I am most impressed at her “gift to expand beyond the boundaries of her degree.”
CONFINED BY DEGREE?

I have known many people over the years that confined themselves into what was/is reflected on their diploma or a decision they made before they were mature enough to know that we serve a boundaryless God. Other well meaning people discouraged them from going where God was leading them because of the “prestige” that is associated with their degree. Some pushed through it but many, to this day, are shrinking and dying in their fear of going beyond the obvious. This is particularly tragic in today’s time when all things “normal” are being rearranged. Many are suffering without a cause for fear of leaving the comfort zone of their “field.”
The purpose of this blog is to appeal to anyone feeling trapped, to get out of your comfort zone. Marshawn Evans is living proof that you don’t have to give up anything. Your foundation is just that—a foundation for the gift that is within you. Build on it and “expand your territory” in the world
Please see the response I sent to Marshawn; it is true for all who are feeling trapped. Also, please view the excerpts from Bob Gass and “Today's Word” and The Daily Word; all are supporting input to this blog.
“HAPPY 34th BIRTHDAY MARSHAWN--3+4=7; that is God's favorite number and you are one of His favorite people!! You have helped me by demonstrating to the world that we have not because we ask not. Though you are a certified Attorney, you are not trapped in your degree. You have accepted the fact that God is a big God and the boundaries of our gifts reside in the boundaryless God we serve. Whether we accept your gift or not, you are there to “recharge” ours. You have demonstrated that with God, all things are possible. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARSHAWN--Through your Godfidence--you just keep on "showing up" and God just keeps on "showing out! He said: Ask, Seek, and Knock--Thank you for taking Him a His Word. You are the model of POSSIBLITIES!! You have only just begun!”

Excerpt from Bob Gass below:
"Not only did God create you, He gave you certain gifts so that you could fulfill His purposes and bring glory to Him. So before they tag your toe and write your obituary, ask God what you were born to do. Only by finding and fulfilling His purpose, can you fill the God-shaped space within you that you were born with." Bob Gass --Source: http://www.bobgass.com/todaysword.php
Excerpt from The Daily Word below:
"To recharge my soul, I spend time centered in the indwelling spirit of God. In the quiet of meditation or the contemplation of prayer, I am guided to make choices that recharge and renew me in every way." "Revive me according to your word."—Psalm 119:25—Source: www.dailyword.com
