Riverside community thriving grants
We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association awarded 3 grants in October to support community engagement and family initiatives.

October has been a busy month for We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association as the organization was awarded 3 grants to support community engagement opportunities. Ernest Perkins, youth ambassador with We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association was awarded $250 from America Promise Alliance for his Buddies Thriving Together activity. The Buddies Thriving Together Activity will allow for a safe space for families to connect, share and fellowship whiles sharing cultural experiences. The Buddies Thriving Together Activity will take place on November 13. Brianne Perkins, Youth Ambassador with We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association was awarded $500 to support civic engagement opportunities from the Civic Georgia Organization. The activities supported by this will include voter outreach activities, family engagement activities and community workshops. We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association was awarded $3000 grant from Georgia Power Foundation to support fall youth leadership workshops.
We Thrive in Riverside Renters Association is an advocacy group that promotes renters being involved in the community. The organization is 100 percent made up of volunteers.
