10 Million Steps to Health!
Active seniors walk an incredible 10 million steps in only six weeks
More than 100 LWSC members participated in the Kaiser “Take a Walk” initiative this summer. The goal was to accumulate 12,000 steps per week for 6 weeks. The walk was a resounding success. During the six-week period from August 24 – September 28, 2016, members recorded 10,444,637 steps.
The health initiative culminated in a celebration where eligible members received gift cards and other special prizes. Congratulations to everyone who took part in this healthy activity.
