2 Injured In Lithonia Gas Station Shooting
A man is in serious condition, and a second man is stable, after the Thursday evening shooting.
LITHONIA, GA — Two men in their 20s who police said were "engaging in risky behavior" were injured around 8:15 p.m. Thursday during a gas station shootout in the 7200 block of Covington Highway, DeKalb County Police said Friday.
When officers arrived on the scene, police said they saw evidence of a crime but did not find victims. While they were canvassing the area, two people had arrived at a local hospital and reported being shot at Covington.
Police said a 27-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and was in serious condition. A 24-year-old man was shot in the neck and was in stable condition.

The two men had been occupied with "risky behavior" when one of them tried to rob the other, police said. They exchanged gunfire, and both men were shot. They remained in the hospital as of Friday morning, police said.
Police did not identify which of the men is the suspect, but said the suspect is charged on suspicion of armed robbery and aggravated assault.
