4-Year-Old Found Dead In Yellow River
The child had disappeared under the water Saturday at Yellow River Park, authorities said.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — The body of a 4-year-old child was pulled Sunday from the Yellow River after the boy was carried away by the water, according to authorities.
Emergency personnel found the child shortly after 10:30 a.m. Sunday after he disappeared beneath the surface of the river around 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of Juhan Road Southwest at Yellow River Park in Stone Mountain, authorities said.
The child’s mother told firefighters she was near the river with her son but he went missing, according to authorities, who added she then saw the boy briefly before he disappeared under the water. The Gwinnett County Medical Examiner’s Office is investigating.
