Alumni News: Local Students Honored at Valdosta State

Valdosta State University has announced the names of two students from Summer 2013 who have earned the academic status of Dean's List.

They are Christen Monique Fisher, of Stone Mountain, and Shanice Nicole Andrews, of Lithonia.

Students who achieve a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher on nine (9) or more semester hours with an institutional (VSU) GPA of 3.00 or higher are recognized by being placed on the Dean's List. 

VSU also announced the names of students who have met all qualifications for graduation. More than 400 have been recognized for receiving their associate's, bachelor's or master's degrees.
