ART Station Gets a Makeover

Renovations will begin soon at the Stone Mountain theatre.

ART Station is getting a facelift. The first $100,000 gift has been given towards a $250,000 campaign to update the infrastructure of the building.

That means new theatre seats, lighting, sound, draperies, a new wheel chair lift and a new cabaret performance space. After "The Marvelous Wonderettes" closes on Aug. 18, ART Station will begin some much needed theatre renovations and the installation of a new cabaret spot.

The campaign is co-chaired by Stone Mountain Mayor Pat Wheeler and ART Station Board Chairman Rusty McKellar. The grand-re-opening of ART Station will be Saturday, Sept. 28. Mark that date on your calendar for a special celebration at ART Station.

You can help ART Station by making a donation to the campaign through Paypal. Just click the "donate" link below or, if you prefer, you may call our office at 770-469-1105 and ask for a campaign donation form and return envelope.
