Civil War-Era Home Burned In Stone Mountain Park: Report
The Davis House stood for 180 years before being destroyed in a fire early Tuesday morning, a media report says.
STONE MOUNTAIN — The Davis House, a historic Civil War-era home in Stone Mountain Park's Historic Square, burned early Tuesday morning after standing for the last 180 years, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
The outlet reported the fire began in the upper areas of the house, and the cause of the fire is being investigated. Fox 5 was told the Davis House is a "total loss."
