DeKalb Family Fun Day Coming to Lithonia

The Aug. 11 event is free and open to the public.

The Annual DeKalb Family Fun Day returns on Sunday, Aug 11, from 2 p.m.-7 p.m., at Bransby Outdoor YMCA at Rock Chapel, 1185 Rock Chapel Road, in Lithonia. This event is free and open to the public.

The purpose is for families to have a good time, while collecting school supplies for local students to help support them in the upcoming school year. Interim CEO Lee May is partnering with Project A.R.M., Beverly Cunningham Outreach Program and Saving Our Children & Families, all nonprofit organizations.

“This is a golden opportunity for families to have some summer fun, and get the kids excited and ready for back-to-school at the same time,” said May.
