Election Day Weather: Chilly With Good Chance of Rain

You may need a coat and umbrella at the polls Tuesday.

Take a warm jacket and an umbrella with you to the Election Day polls, because it's not going to be good voting weather Tuesday.

Forecasters say temperatures will start in the mid-40s and rise only into the low-50s while Stone Mountain, Lithonia and other voters in DeKalb and Gwinnett County are at the polls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Oh yeah, and it’s probably going to rain, too.

WeatherBug, the source for weather information on Patch sites, says there will be a 76 percent chance of rain at 7 a.m. in Stone Mountain, 74 percent in Lithonia, updated at 8 p.m. and 5 p.m. Nov.5, respectively.
