Erin Hill Band to Rock Tavern On Main

The origins of the Erin Hill band go back to 2003 when the then 14-year-old Erin Hill formed her first band, Mink Livsey. This all girl band performed at many teen clubs and school functions with Erin always the singer/songwriter leading the way. Erin developed her incredible writing and vocal skills during this time and when the band members went their separate ways, Erin knew she was ready to form her own band. In December of 2009 The Erin Hill Band was formed combining Erin’s multi-talented skills with three seasoned, professional road and studio musicians--Rick Austin on drums, Steve Farrell on lead guitar and keyboards, and Steve Hill on bass guitar, with Erin on electric and acoustic guitar and keys.

The Erin Hill Band quickly recorded its first EP featuring some of the songs that appeared on the band’s first CD to be released in 2012. The fact is audiences love Erin and the way she makes her performances personal and up close, at times even leaving the stage to interact with fans during the performance, using the athletic skills that won her a scholarship to Georgia State University playing Soccer. Even with college interest in her soccer career, Erin stayed focused on her music.

A prolific songwriter, she already has enough material for the next two albums. Drawing inspiration from such artists as Pat Benetar, Linda Ronstdat, Paramore and Avril Lavigne, her unique blend of rock and pop with astonishing hooks that catch the attention of listeners and have them singing along upon a single hearing of the songs is no small feat, as anyone who has tried to write a catchy hook knows, and Erin Hill’s songs are magically able to capture and captivate audiences and have them singing and dancing in the aisles everywhere The Erin Hill Band plays.

In addition to their original music, this band plays a wide array of pop/rock from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today.
