Public Hearing on Greater Hidden Hills Overlay Code

There will be a public hearing on the draft of the overlay code for the Greater Hidden Hills Community on Saturday, April 9, at the Lou Walker Center.

The overlay code aims to:

• Make the district’s shopping centers more attractive, competitive and economically sound.
  
  
• Improve the streetscapes with desirable lighting, signs, sidewalks and green buffers.  
  
  
• Keep out undesirable businesses.  
  
  
• Preserve and enhance green space.
  
  
• Promote multi-modal access that reduces 
  reliance on cars.  
  
  
• Protect established residential areas.

The overlay code will affect Hidden Hills and all surrounding neighborhoods. Public input is welcome.
