Former Atlanta Cop Reportedly Impersonated Police Officer

Christopher Kitcho resigned from the department, and then reportedly impersonated a police officer in DeKalb County.

Atlanta police have raided an apartment owned by a former fellow officer and discovered illegal drugs, WSB-TV reports.

Police say that Christopher Kitcho was the subject of an internal investigation when he resigned from the force on Aug. 19. He was later arrested in DeKalb County for impersonating a police officer.

According to a statement from Atlanta police, Kitcho flashed a badge at a DeKalb officer following an alcohol related citation. This arrest spurred a further investigation which led to the raid of Kitcho’s apartment.

Once inside Kitcho’s apartment, police say they discovered marijuana, cocaine, and anabolic steroids. They also found a rifle in the north Atlanta apartment.
