Greenforest Band to play for Toys for Tots

The Greenforest Academy Band of Decatur is getting into the holiday spirit by sharing its musical gifts with the Atlanta Toys for Tots campaign. The group is collecting new, unwrapped toys to be presented to the campaign on Friday, December 19, when the band is scheduled to play Christmas music on the Fox 5 newscast at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. The band has performed in the Black History Month Parade, at the Georgia Governor’s Mansion and at Atlanta City Hall.
