Lithonia Man Accused Of Soliciting Teen Girl Sentenced: AG
The man is accused of buying and selling a 17-year-old girl for sex, according to the attorney general.
ATLANTA, GA — A 39-year-old Lithonia man has pleaded guilty to soliciting an underage female for sex, Attorney General Chris Carr said Friday.
Shane Bean, who was indicted in Fulton County a year ago with nine co-defendants, was sentenced to 10 years after pleading guilty Dec. 1, 2022, to pandering of a person under the age of 18, Carr said.
Bean is accused of buying and selling a 17-year-old girl for sex, Carr said. The girl was rescued by the U.S. Marshals Service and the College Park Police Department, Carr said.

He must serve two years in prison with the remainder of the sentence to be served on strict probation, Carr said. Bean must also register as a sex offender, Carr said.
The case was part of Operation Not Forgotten 2020.
