
DeKalb For Seniors, Inc., the fundraising arm of the Lou Walker Senior Center, is inviting everyone to their upcoming annual event – the Mardi Gras Bling! Bling!
This elegant evening of dinner, dancing and entertainment will be a Mardi Gras-themed fundraising event, open to the public on Saturday, February 18 from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m. in the Victory Room of the Lou Walker Center. Guests will enjoy a Mardi Gras-inspired dinner buffet and libations, and a King and Queen will be presented. Ladies and gentleman are invited to dress to impress and bring their best masks. Tickets are available for purchase from the Lou Walker Gift Shop, and at the door.
Net proceeds from the fundraiser will be used for various programs at the center and all ticket purchases are fully tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Participation in this charitable fundraiser means hearty fun and entertainment for those who attend the event and ensures continuous programming for the members.

The Lou Walker Senior Center is a multipurpose facility for active senior adults age 55 and older. The 40,000 square foot facility offers spaces and amenities to meet the needs and interests of today’s active older adults. The architectural structure of the facility and programming stimulate the mind and body to remain active.
