Man Accused of Stabbing Mother, Brother Surrenders
Police say Brandon Nash, of Lithonia, had been on the run for four hours.

LITHONIA, GA -- A Lithonia man accused of stabbing his mother to death and attacking his brother has surrendered to police.
DeKalb County authorities say Brandon Nash, 26, had been on the run for about four hours when he turned himself in at about 8 a.m. Tuesday, WAGA-TV reports.
Police say Nash’s mother died from injuries she suffered in the stabbing, which happened at their home on Cherokee Valley Road.

His 17-year-old brother is being treated for stab wounds and Nash’s father told the station that his son hit him in the head with a toilet lid.
Police say they had been in contact with Nash on the telephone as they tracked him to his girlfriend’s house, about five miles away. They say no one was injured in the arrest.
