Resident, Dog Dies In Stone Mountain House Fire
A second person suffered smoke inhalation in the Monday evening fire.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A resident and a dog died, and another person suffered smoke inhalation, Monday evening in a Leland Drive house fire, according to the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department.
Fire crews responded around 6:45 p.m. and found heavy smoke and flames coming from the house, fire officials said.
The cause of death is unknown, and the cause of the fire was not released.
