No Injuries After Fire At Stone Mountain Apartment Complex

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — There were no injuries in a blaze Friday morning at Hairston Woods Apartments, according to the DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department.

The fire happened around 2:45 a.m. Flames were seen coming out of the six-unit building's attic when crews arrived, fire officials said.

The apartments had to be evacuated, and additional units had to be called to assist, fire officials said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated, fire officials said.
