Remains Found In Stone Mountain; Police Need Help ID'ing
DeKalb County Police said the remains were found Monday in a wooded area.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — DeKalb County police officers are asking for the public's help in identifying skeletal remains that were found Monday in a Stone Mountain wooded area, the department announced Friday.
The remains belong to a Black man between the ages of 18 and 30, police said. The man would have been 6-feet to 6-feet-5-inches tall with black dreadlocks that were about 3-4 inches long, police said.
Police said they believe the man has been dead for at least six months.

Authorities ask anyone with information that could lead to the man's identity to call the DeKalb County Medical Examiner's Office at (404) 508-3500.
