Summer is a Cool Time to Adopt a New Pet During LifeLine Animal Project's Beat the Heat Promotion! And Meet LifeLine's DeKalb County Shelter Pets of the Week
Adopt a pet for no cost, or take advantage of our low cost vaccine clinic this weekend!
Step out of the heat and do something cool! Throughout June, all dogs and cats six months and over may be adopted for FREE at any of LifeLine Animal Project’s shelters, including DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), Fulton County Animal Services (FCAS), LifeLine’s Dog House and Kitty Motel and LifeLine’s Cat Adoption Center. All dogs must weigh at least 25 lbs. to qualify for this special.
Adopters will receive a dog or cat that has been spayed or neutered, has had all vaccines and is microchipped – a $250 value – for no cost. Adoption counselors will be on hand to ensure the animals are being placed in good homes.

Cute, cute, cute! It doesn’t get any cuter than Cinnamon, a lovable, two-year-old girl who is ready to be your new BFF. With her sweet, kissable face, her super-sized goofy ears and her calm personality, Cinnamon is hard to resist. This petite girl is the perfect size for any home. She also loves treats and is very eager to please, so training her will be easy. Cinnamon gets along great with other dogs and would be a great sister to your dog. Please come meet her today.
Our next Pet of the Week is Gabriella, a happy Redbone Coonhound who is also two year’s old. Gabriella has a fantastic smile that she shows off frequently, and she greets visitors by wiggling her whole body and doing her happy dance. This active girl would love to be your workout buddy or a playmate for your current dog. She also loves to play fetch, take walks and smell everything in the yard. Gabriella learns quickly, already knows how to sit, and she takes treats out of your hand very gently.
Come meet Cinnamon and Gabriella today! Simply drop by the shelter at 845 Camp Road in Decatur, email adoption@dekalbanimalservices.com or call (404) 294-2165. To view other pets available for adoption, please drop by the shelter or visit www.dekalbanimalservices.com
