Free, live music returns to Stone Mountain Village this Saturday, as well as the second classic car show of the season. There's a women's health conference (it's in Dunwoody, but the issue is so important, it bears mentioning here) and the first farmers market in nearby Clarkston.
So much to do - only two days to do it!

Why go: Fun, upbeat music in a cool atmosphere. Bring a lawn chair.

2. What: Community Garden work
When: Saturday, May 19, 8:30 a.m.
Where: Community garden in Stone Mountain, Gordon Street behind the U. S. Post Office at VFW Field
Why go: This is the regular day (third Saturday) to work on the community garden, which is open to all gardeners, and there's room to grow. The garden serves a food pantry. If you come, bring a food item for the potluck breakfast.

3. What: Classic Car Show
When: Saturday, May 19, 2012, 5-8 p.m.
Where: The main parking lot on Main Street next to the old train depot.
Why go: Classics never go out of style, and...
Cost: ...it's free!
4. What: Family Bike Ride
When: Saturday, May 19, 8-9:30 a.m.
Where: Leaves from , 901 Main Street, Stone Mountain Village
Why go: A good workout, family bonding time.

Why go: For a glass of vino (or punch), light fare, some good conversation; to peruse the store, and maybe pick up some deals.
Cost: Free.
6. What: Women's Health & Wellness Conference
When: Saturday, May 19, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Where: Holiday Inn Select Atlanta- Perimeter/Dunwoody, 4386 Chamblee-Dunwoody Road, Atlanta
Why go: Learn about women's health issues and how to take charge of them. Keynote speakers include DeKalb county's First Lady, Philippa V. Ellis, Esq., Rev. Connie Jackson of On the Edge Ministries, and DeKalb County Commissioner Kathie Gannon. There will also be a special screening of "The Weight of the Nation,"
Cost: Free but you must register here.
7. What:
When: Sunday, May 20, 11:30 am - 3:30
Where: Clarkston Community Center activities field. The center is located at 3701 College Avenue in Clarkston.
Why go: This is the very first Clarkston Farmers Market - help them make history!
Cost: Free to enter.
