Woman Shot Near Stone Mountain Plaza

Police said a person shot towards the woman's car near Memorial Drive.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A woman was shot overnight in the 4800 block of Memorial Drive, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.

Police said around 2:30 a.m. a person shot towards the woman's car.

Atlanta News First reported the shooting took place at the Rockmore Shopping Plaza.

A motive in the shooting is unknown.

The woman was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, police said.
