ā¢ City, county, school board set millage rates for 2027 fiscal year (tiftongazette.com) ā Property tax bills for Tifton residents will be a bit lighter in 2027, as the city, county, and school board have all approved slightly lower millage rates. Tiftonās city rate drops to 6.114, Tift Countyās general rates fall for both incorporated and unincorporated areas, and Tift County Schools adopts a rollback rate of 11.777 to ease the burden on local homeowners.
