ā¢ Proposal would allow open-container alcohol in part of downtown Tifton (walb.com) ā City leaders in Tifton are weighing a proposal to create a downtown āentertainment districtā where people could legally carry alcoholic drinks in city-approved cups during set hours. The plan would expand current open-container allowances beyond special events like Sip & Stroll, potentially changing how residents and visitors enjoy downtown businesses.
