• Two hurt after 18-wheeler and pickup truck collide on I-75 south in Valdosta (walb.com) — A 51-year-old man from Alapaha and his passenger suffered minor injuries after their Ford Ranger collided with an 18-wheeler and overturned on I-75 south in Valdosta Sunday morning. The crash shut down parts of the interstate for hours, and both Alapaha residents were taken to South Georgia Medical Center as state troopers continue investigating what happened.
